I'm currently enrolled at Vassar, pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Economics. I'm also minoring in Chinese. I'm most experienced working with students to prepare for standardized exams in Mathematics, including SAT I and II. I'm also experienced tutoring Mandarin Chinese, English, Geometry, Literature, Trigonometry, Micro and Macroeconomics, Phonics, and SAT Reading and Writing. I've worked with students of many ages and levels. I've also tutored multiple levels of English, and I have worked with students on their essay writing and editing skills. Additionally, I've worked as a teacher in English as a Second Language to third grade students in a classroom environment. The Taiwanese Government commissioned me to do this, and I use multiple teaching methods to present material to students. I try to demystify standardized tests so that students become less stressed and intimidated by them. It's important to me to help students build their confidence in themselves, especially when it comes to their performance on exams. I firmly believe that education should be accessible, especially higher education. I participate in sports at Vassar. I'm also involved in the Asian Students' Alliance, and I am on the rowing team. I love running, crew, movies, baking, filmmaking, and classical guitar and piano.
