EducationCornell University - Bachelors, Human Biology, Health, and Society
ExperienceI attended Cornell University, where I earned my bachelor of science degree in Human Biology, Health, and Society. I went on to work at the Columbia University Medical Center as a research technician, and then traveled to India to attend a global health program. I'm now pursuing medical school. Throughout my years as a student, I have also gained numerous experiences with tutoring and mentoring other students. When I attended high school, I worked to tutor students from elementary and middle school, mainly in math. When I attended Cornell, I tutored a number of students in chemistry, guiding them as they studied for exams, or struggled to solve problems correctly. I was able to make good use of the things I had learned throughout my studies not only in chemistry, but other subjects, and as a student in general. I have a number of other tutoring experiences with students from a variety of backgrounds, and have used many different methods and techniques when working with different students. I am available to tutor students in many subjects, especially math and science related subjects, but also in English and Japanese, and I can help students preparing for different standardized tests, like the SAT, PSAT, TOEFL, and others.
